Description
To make bidding with Kearns Auctions an enjoyable experience below are some tips and insights into how the auction process runs.
Once you have registered your account you are free to bid in any auction on the Kearns website. Please allow 24-48hours for account registration approval.
This auction is a TIMED auction, run in real time with staggered end times i.e. Lots are set to finish 30 seconds apart, with the first lot scheduled to close at the advertised start/end time. Bids can be placed at any time on any lot – once a lot timer falls below the LAST TWO MINUTES any bid placed in that time will see the timer refresh back to TWO minutes.
If you decide to watch the auction live we suggest downloading our app - it is much more fun! (links available at the top of each auction listings page), if watching on a pc setting your "SORT BY" filter (shown at top of the listings page) to "TIME LEFT", it should make for exciting viewing as some lots may switch and change in their order of closing depending upon the last minute bidding activity on each lot.
It won’t take long for you to get familiar with it and we are sure you will find it fun and exciting to follow.
POSTAGE : Postage is only available on smaller items. If larger items are purchased there will be a packing charge added to the price of postage. We sort and pack postage each Monday after the auction, normally we invoice for items won on Sunday/Monday with the postage fee and/or packing fee included – postage will be charged as quoted by the Australia Post website (always, of course combining multiple purchases to keep it as cheap as possible). All items are sent with tracking (sent to your email by Australia Post) and signature on delivery.
